# I forgot my password

Ask for a reset link by email, then choose a new password. The link works for one hour.

You can choose a new password using a link we email to you.

1. On the sign-in page, press Forgot password?. Or open Reset your password.
2. Enter your Email address.
3. Press Send reset instructions.
4. Open the email and press the link.
5. Enter your New Password, then type it again to confirm it.
6. Press Reset Password.
7. Sign in with your new password.

## Good to know

- The link works for one hour. If it has expired, press Request new link.
- For your security, the page always says an email has been sent, even if that address is not registered. If nothing arrives, check your junk or spam folder, and check you used the email address you signed up with.
- Your new password must be at least 12 characters long. It cannot be one of your recent passwords.
- After a reset, you are signed out on all your devices. Sign in again with your new password.

If you ask for several links in a short time, you may need to wait up to an hour before you can ask again.
